JUNIOR SCHOOL
A significant portion of the Junior Secondary curriculum is set by the NSW Board of Studies as a mandatory set of subjects that all students must complete to conclude the Junior Course. Years 7 and 8: Subjects offered in Year 7 and 8 are almost entirely a set core group of courses that must be studied to meet NSW Board of Studies requirements. Religious Education, English, Mathematics, Science, Personal Development, Health Physical Education (PDHPE), History, Geography, Technology, Music, Visual Arts and a Language Other Than English (LOTE). In 2014/15 the LOTE subject the students are able to study is French. The Year 7 and 8's participate in learning every two weeks, which teaches them their preferred way of learning, and also studying.
Years 9 and 10: In Years 9 and 10, with a significant amount of the compulsory core group of subjects completed, students begin to excercise elective choice across 3 lines of study. Th core compulsory subjects are: Religious Education, English, Mathematics, Science, PDHPE, Mandatory History and Mandatory Geography. The elective subjects include: Elective History, Elective Geography, Agriculture, Commerce, Drama, Industrial Technology- Automotive, Industrial Technology- Metal, Industrial Technology- Wood, Information Soft ware Technology, Music, Physical Activity and Sports Studies (PASS), Visual Arts/photography, French and Food Technology.
Food technology is an extremely recent subject that we have added to our curriculum. Food tech allows for boys to learn crucial kitchen skills while also allowing them to compete in competitions including the Western Region Culinary Challenge, which we won first place last year.
SENIOR SCHOOL
In Senior Secondary, St Stanislaus’ College offers a broad range of subjects that may be studied to prepare students for University entrance and Tertiary courses or for directly vocational purposes. It is also possible to study a mix of vocation and academic subjects depending upon a student’s interests and needs.

In Years 11 and 12 The core compulsory subjects are: 2 unit English, either Advanced or Standard. Studies of Religion either 1 or 2 unit. Within Studies of Religion, students are able to study religions other than Christianity such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam or a number of other religious traditions.

Elective subjects: English- Extension 1. English - Extension 2, Mathematics - Extension 1, Mathematics - Extension 2, Mathematics, General Mathematics, Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Senior Science, Business Studies, Economics, Geography, Legal Studies, PDHPE, Drama, Music, Visual Arts, Design and Technology, Soft ware Design and Development, Information Processes & Technology, Food Technology and French  VET- Automotive, VET- Construction, VET Metals and Engineering, VET- Primary Industries, These VET subjects are TAFE based subjects run at the school, and it offers students who are more practical learners to get in and receive some nationally recognised qualifications, while still being able to study at school.
